Booking & Availability

Get in touch via the contact form, email, or Instagram DM with a few details — what you need, the date, and roughly what you're picturing. I'll come back with availability and next steps, usually within 24–48 hours.
For weddings, 3–6 months ahead is ideal, especially for peak season (May–September). For matchday, motorsport or design work, 1–2 weeks is usually enough — though earlier is always better for the date you want.
Yes. Travel within 20 miles is included in every package; beyond that it's charged at 45p per mile, plus any parking, tolls or accommodation for full-day or multi-day bookings. Get in touch for a quote on anything further afield.
Rescheduling is free with at least 14 days' notice, subject to availability. Full cancellation terms are set out in the booking agreement sent when you confirm your date.

It depends on the sector and package — see the full Pricing Guide for sports, motorsport, weddings and design. Most bookings fall within a clear package, but get in touch if you need something bespoke.
Yes — A 25% deposit secures your date, with the balance due on delivery of the final images/files.
Bank transfer is preferred. Details are included on every invoice.

For events (weddings, matchdays, track days), I aim to capture things as they naturally unfold rather than over-directing — you'll get authentic moments, not stiff, posed shots. For branded content and design shoots, we'll agree a shot list in advance so the day runs smoothly.
Absolutely — for weddings especially, send through your must-have list beforehand (see the Wedding Questionnaire) and I'll make sure they're covered.
For outdoor shoots, I'll make every reasonable effort to shoot through it. If an event itself is postponed by the organiser/venue due to weather, we simply reschedule — no cancellation fee applies in that case.

Turnaround varies by package — generally 24–48 hours for sports/motorsport galleries, and 2–3 weeks for weddings. Exact timescales are listed in the Pricing Guide and confirmed at booking.
Via an online gallery link for download and sharing. Full-day wedding packages also include a USB keepsake box.
Yes — standard packages include a personal and social media usage licence. Tagging @jastudios when you post is always appreciated (and helps other people find the work!).
Standard licensing covers personal and social use. Commercial/advertising use is quoted and licensed separately — get in touch if that's what you need.
J.A Studios retains copyright of all images produced, as is standard in photography. You receive a usage licence covering the purposes outlined above.

It starts with a short brief (see the Brand/Design Questionnaire), followed by initial concepts, a couple of rounds of revisions, and final files delivered in all the formats you need.
A logo typically takes 1–2 weeks; a full brand identity package usually takes 3–4 weeks depending on revisions and how quickly feedback comes back.
Yes — monthly content packages are available, from 12 to 24 designed posts a month, on a rolling retainer.
